Cycling and walking

Well marked bike trails make cycling an excellent way to experience the area around Porec. Bikes can easily be rented locally.

Tennis

There are approximately 100 tennis courts in Porec. Some are indoors, some are floodlit so it is possible to play in the evening when it is cooler.

Horse riding

Riding is available locally for both beginners and experienced riders.

Lipica, the world’s most famous classical riding school and stud farm, is situated on the Slovenian/ Italian border, only a 1.5 hour’s drive.

Golf

For the more adventurous there is an eco-friendly 18 hole course on the island of Brijuni. A short boat trip from the mainland!

A new 18 hole golf course near Umag (about 50km) looks quite challenging.
